Our vision is to provide an educational environment that affirms, celebrates, and empowers our Black students to thrive. Black Students Matter at John Liechty Middle School!

Our JLMS mission is to:

·       Create an inviting and motivating school culture to           promote community building.

·       Eliminate educational and racial inequities and                 barriers to students’ learning experiences.

·       Bring awareness of “The Black Experience” and               culture to all stakeholders.

·       Integrate into the curriculum the achievements and           contributions of Black people.

·       Promote social justice and empower our Black                 students to find their voice and successfully manage       in this global society.
